Customer Feedback

I'm good in the wood shop but not so good at websites or social media.  I invented the banks in 1993 for my children.  I've been making and selling them ever since.  I'm extremely grateful that in 2017 were going stronger than ever.

I realize that the reviews here are dated.  However, you can read many reviews if you google "big belly banks reviews."

I bought two of these for my boys as a behavior incentive program and positive reinforcement. I have 20 month old and a 31/2 year old. It is a fun bank that they can watch the coins wiggle down into the bank. Every night we talk about their day and they earn coins for all of the good things they did ( getting dressed nicely, picking up, etc) They look forward to it and when I mention that maybe they aren't making a good choice and won't be getting coins, or they don't get a coin for something, it seems to make an impact. As they get older, I'm sure they will learn the value of money as well. Made well, sturdy, easy to use.

We bought this for our 3-year-old son and he LOVES it.

I was looking for a piggy bank that was made in the US since you never know about what kind of paint they use with products made in China. I stumbled across this on Amazon and it was a great find.

Note that it's 20 inches tall, so not the best option of space is limited, but it's a great little piece to sit in the corner of the room and my little guy loves to "feed" the dinosaur and watch the coins slide down.

The only downside is if you're little one is insistent about pulling the money in and out of the bank. You do need a screwdriver to take his tummy apart and get to the coins. (Luckily, we've been able to avoid that by giving him a couple of new coins whenever he gets the urge to try and empty his new bank.)

My granddaughter loves this bank and so do I. After she fills it up she has her parents empty it so that she can fill it back up again. I love that a child has no way of opening it so you don't have to worry about them swallowing coins when you not are around. It's a great way to teach children about the value of each coin. I plan on buying this bank as a gift for birthday parties that I am invited to. I love the vibrant colors and hope that the manufacturer comes up with more designs. I'll be buying one for my youngest granddaughter soon.
